About Me

My name is Daniel, better known as Danny, and I'm 45 years old and have actively served in various churches for over 25 years. I surrendered to the ministry when he was 17 years of age. I come from a family of ministers with a Grandfather who was a church planter in California and parents who were both ministers of music and teachers in the churches my Grandfather planted. During my teenage years, my family felt God leading us to the south and we moved to West Helena, Arkansas to begin a new ministry with the music at Calvary Baptist Church. During this time God showed me my need to know Jesus personally, not just know about Him. I was saved on December 28, 1988.

I have been married to my best friend Katie for 24 years. We have two children; Rebekah is 20 and is a Junior at Samford University in Birmingham, and Andrew is 17 and is a dual-enrolled Senior at Shorter University in Rome. We have made Georgia home for almost 12 years and during which time I served for nearly 10years at the First Baptist Church, Lithia Springs as Associate Pastor. Katie is the Fine Arts Curriculum Coordinator for Paulding County schools.

Daniel attended Blue Mountain College in northwest MS, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, and later studied at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned his Master of Arts in Christian Education.

Daniel enjoys listening to and playing music, woodworking, spending time in his yard and playing golf, but most of all spending time with family and friends.
